This hidden gem close to Playa del Carmen is a delightful find indeed. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a smile, a fresh fruity welcome drink in a quiet lobby with open spaces and tons of natural light.
The friendly warm-hearted staff is always available to drive you around in golf carts. Although you can always take a walk (be sure to bring comfy shoes) or hop on to a colorful bike. The bikes are available for all guests and they seem to be preferred mean of transportation. I mean, who wouldn’t enjoy a bike ride through mangroves, beautifully kept gardens, bridges and tropical jungle views? Grab your bike to head to the beach, enjoy a fine meal or cocktail in of the hotel’s restaurants & bars, catch a yoga class or indulge in a Spa treatment.
I have to admit though, that my favorite feature of this hotel is the rooms!!! All 128 exquisitely-designed spacious suites are so welcoming, you will not want to leave your room! Floor-to-ceiling windows, beautiful & harmonic spaces, breathtaking views, and natural light are the things I loved the most.

As a former wedding planner, I couldn’t help but notice that all rooms seemed to be designed for picture-perfect weddings, the kind of photos you love on Pinterest! Just to give you an idea, you can choose to have your wedding at the beach, Spa Pool Area (super quiet and exclusive) and your reception on the oceanfront deck or one of the hotel’s restaurants. Bonus?? This Small Luxury Hotel only hosts one wedding per day, so you have the staff’s full attention!!
